"Gem Brilliant Uncirculated".  Micro-O, Breen 3545.  Ex - Stack's 12/2003:245, sold for $7,475.00.  "The lower loop of a digit (a 9 or a 5?) can be clearly seen punched into the truncation of Miss Liberty's bust.  Since most specimens of the Micro 'O' are in very low grade, it is not surprising that this 'misplaced date' variety has not yet been noted...It is also possible that there are other obverse dies mated with the Micro 'O' variety, so that not all Micro 'O' coins will necessarily display the misplaced date.

MS-64.  Ex - Bowers and Merena Galleries' Robert W. Schwan Collection Sale, October 26-27, 2000, Lot 634 at $471.50
