"Choice Very Fine". Ex - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid
Sale, August 25, 2001, Lot 1379, illustrated, where it was described as follows:
"1787 CT Copper, Miller 32.3-X.4, Draped Bust Facing Left, Choice
Very Fine. 136.6 grains. Rarity 2. Dark olive brown with lighter tan
high points. Two heavy hits appear on the obverse: one at the center, and
another at 7:00, which dents and bends the planchet slightly. The planchet
is mostly smooth but has more of a dry appearance than a glossy one.
Despite the problems, this is a pleasing example with plenty of details."
