"Very Fine" (illustrated
above). Ex - Early American History Auctions, Inc.'s Mail Bid
Sale, August 25, 2001, Lot 1370, illustrated, where it was described as follows:
"1786 CT Copper, Mailed Bust Facing Left, Miller 5.2-I, Very Fine.
123.9 grains. Rarity 3 (Scarce). Cleaned and retoned, now with a
brown-orange color that comes close very close to the natural toning.
Minor planchet clip from 1:00 to 2:00 on the obverse. Full date! This
piece appears to be nicer than the Pine Tree/EAC coin and not too far off
the Taylor piece."
